DGG STONES is a stone consultant company based in São Paulo Brazil. It was founded in the year of 1985 by the engineer Paulo Flório Giafarov who has been working with natural stones since 1978. The company was created to fulfill a lack of specialized services on the stone sector in Brazil.
The company has a large experience on dealing with natural stones, providing specification, purchasing, drawing, inspection, and shipment consultancy services.
The main target of the company is to provide stone consultancy services following and respecting the aesthetics aspects of the concept/design created by the architect.
With a different profile and Pioneering in Brazil it has gained experience in the field of ornamental stones and coatings, providing consulting services advices on technical specification, elaboration of executive projects, acquisition of materials, monitoring the extraction, quality control in dispatch of material and the execution of the work
The philosophy of the company is based on working in accordance with the international protocols for a better control and sustainability of the general environment.

Eng. Paulo Giafarov starts his career on the natural stone sector

Eng. Paulo Giafarov found the company DGG Stones
1989
DGG joins the MIA - Marble Institute of America (now NSI - Natural Stone Institute)
1990
DGG sets partnerships with stones consultancy companies in Europe
1995
DGG sets a partnership with ABNT - Brazilian Association of Technical Standards for the Brazilian Market
2000
DGG starts working with American and English architects reaching the overseas market
2005
DGG establishes a partnership with the Xiamen Stone Fair and Eng. Paulo Giafarov starts writing articles for Brazilian, Portuguese and Spanish magazines
2010
DGG and other five companies found Wonasa - World Natural Stone Association - to increase worldwide the use of natural stones
2015
DGG consolidates its position on the world market running important projects all over the world
2021
Eng. Paulo Giafarov becomes president of Wonasa and has been invites to give speeches in universities and congresses in Brazil, USA, Europe and Far East to talk about the use of natural stones
